About South Coast Urban Harvest
South Coast Urban Harvest was born from a desire to create a better world. Naturally, home is the best place to start living the life you dream of. Permaculture considers the connected nature of natural systems along with the technology available to harvest the resources available to us.
Adrian Volpatti – Designer & Director
Adrian grew up listening to stories of enjoying and preserving the harvests from suburban Italian backyards. These Inspiring stories sparked a lifelong passion for sustainable food systems. An interest in systems ecology led Adrian to the permaculture design system.
People are drawn to Adrian’s personal experience, down to earth nature, and clear explanations. He brings qualifications in Education (Design Tech) and Permaculture Design along with a passion for sustainable living. Several years working as a landscaper means he brings to every job the perfect mix of experience and knowledge.
Amanda Volpatti – Marketing & Communications Manager
Amanda grew up thinking that large vegetable gardens and home grown produce were the norm. Taking out the compost was never her favourite job but she strongly believes in the value of a plant based lifestyle. The simplest, cheapest way to support this lifestyle is by growing her own top fresh fruit and veggies so she is working on developing a love of compost and worms!
If you enjoy Amanda’s writing on the blog you can find out more about her work as a freelance Communications Consultant here.
